Before Your Appointment

If you have had previous ultrasound scans, blood tests, imaging or a pathology report, please bring them with you or send them in advance. Follow up decisions depend on comparing findings over time, so earlier records are often the most useful part of the assessment.

Frequently asked questions

Does the doctor speak English?

Yes. Prof. Dr. Taylan Şenol speaks English; consultations and examinations can be held in English.

Can I have an online consultation before travelling to Istanbul?

Yes. Online consultations are available and are charged as a consultation. You can send your questions and your test results (pathology, MRI, PET-CT reports) via WhatsApp beforehand, so the visit can be planned in advance.

How long should I plan to stay in Istanbul?

Patients travelling from abroad usually stay in a hotel. For the examination, tests and any necessary procedures, about one week is generally sufficient. Your exact plan depends on your diagnosis and is discussed with you beforehand.

Where are operations performed?

Surgical procedures are performed at Atlas University Hospital (Güneşli) and Biruni University Hospital (Sefaköy) in Istanbul.

How will I receive my pathology results?

Pathology results are sent to you as a PDF via WhatsApp once they are ready.

What are the clinic's opening hours?

The clinic in Bakırköy, Istanbul is open Monday to Saturday, 10:00-17:00, and closed on Sundays. Examinations are by appointment.
